Unfortunately, the title of this one is entirely false… There most definitely is not water everywhere around here. We’re on level 3 out of 4, with 4 being the worst, on the water rationing scale as of this week down here in hot, dry Texas. The pond behind our house is several feet lower than it should be (which is better than when it was actually in our yard, front and back, a couple of months ago). So, what does any normal human being do when in the middle of a drought? Well, go to the neighborhood water park, of course! This particular photo was taken directly upon Madi’s re-entry to the surface of the pool after going completely under for the first time. She looks angrier than she was, since within seconds she was splashing around again…
