Madi had a great first Easter today! We started the day off with Easter baskets. Madi’s was filled with several toys, coloring books and crayons (she’s not quite ready for those yet, though). Mine was filled with candy, a new shirt and a brand new lens for my camera! Rebecca’s had a pair of jeans, a hair straightener and some candy… After going through the Easter Baskets, we loaded everyone up in the car, Madi and her Granny in the back seat and Rebecca and I in the front, and headed off for our Easter tradition of spending the morning at the Arboretum. Madi, sporting a dress hand-made by Rebecca’s aunt (Madi’s great aunt), put on quite the show and, as always, was more than willing to pose for the camera…

After the Arboretum, it was back to the car for a quick nap on the way over to Easter Dinner at some freinds’ house and then back home for bath and bed. It was a busy day, but not as busy as next year will be when Madi gets to actually hunt Easter eggs rather than chew on them and throw them on the floor…
